Books
More Perspectives
This page gathers books for adults that have contributed to understanding adoption, adoptee experience, identity, and related themes — as well as books for children that can help introduce language, normalize curiosity, and keep conversations open over time.
These selections have informed my thinking at different points and may offer useful perspective, language, or reflection for readers at various stages. Children’s books are shared not as scripts or solutions, but as gentle entry points for shared reading and ongoing conversation.
This list is not exhaustive, and inclusion does not imply complete alignment. Books are offered as points of reference — to be engaged with thoughtfully, critically, and at your own pace.
